BEN FINZEL
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD WASHINGTON, D.C.
Ben Finzel is a senior vice president in Fleishman-Hillard’s Washington, D.C., office. He has more than 15 years of communications and public affairs experience in Washington, including service as a presidential appointee at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), as a public affairs specialist with Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, and as a press secretary and legislative director in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Ben served as communications director for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the DOE. Here he developed and directed the public affairs strategy for the “clean energy” office of the DOE, which implements $1 billion worth of research and development programs annually for the transportation, industrial, building, and utility sectors of the economy.
On Capitol Hill, he served as legislative director for U.S. Rep. Bill Richardson. He supervised his legislative staff and served as lead adviser on energy, environment, natural resources, science and technology, and transportation issues.

JENNIFER M. KELLY
ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD WASHINGTON, D.C.
Jennifer Kelly is an account supervisor in Fleishman-Hillard’s Washington, D.C. office where she supports corporate, foundation, government, and nonprofit clients in the firm’s social impact marketing practice.
In this capacity, Ms. Kelly supports organizations including the American Red Cross (ARC), the Department of Defense, and Revolution Health Group (RHG).
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Ms. Kelly was a member of Hill & Knowlton’s (H&K) Washington, D.C. corporate practice where she worked extensively on the development, management, and measurement of the Aluminum Associations’ signature grantmaking initiative, Cans for Habitat, and supported CSR initiatives on behalf of Hewlett-Packard (HP) and ASD. She was also a contributing writer to CSR reports for ASD, Motorola, and HP, whose 2005 Global Citizenship Report was recognized as the “Best Sustainability Report” by the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
WILL B. SULLIVAN
MANAGING SUPERVISOR, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD
Will Sullivan is a managing supervisor in Fleishman-Hillard’s Washington DC office. He was previously responsible for coordinating and managing in-country strategic public affairs and stakeholder outreach campaigns for VOX Global Mandate in Japan.
Will has expertise in speech writing and written communications for government executives, technology corporations, and non-profit organizations. Before moving to Japan he oversaw editorial operations—including internal and external written communications and outreach—for Fleishman-Hillard’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) US VISIT account within the D.C. office.
Internally, he planned and implemented the FH Public Affairs Cloakroom, a global, multi-author blog for the public affairs practice group. The blog has spawned an internal networking community within Fleishman-Hillard—creating individual networking opportunities and facilitating conversations regarding professional expertise across the worldwide network of Fleishman-Hillard public affairs specialists.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, he served as a congressional reporter for the York Daily Record in York, Pa., and general assignment reporter for The Irish Times in Dublin, Ireland.

TONY CALANDRO
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND PARTNER, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD ST. LOUIS
Tony Calandro is an expert in the development of state of the art, national online alliance programs used for public affairs, community relations, grassroots, and lobbying activities.
Tony has also developed an innovative use of blogging, podcasting, and vlogging to drive awareness and reposition a corporation’s image among online influencers. He was recognized in the National Association of Political Consultants’ annual Pollie Awards for “most creative use of the Internet.”
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, he was the managing director for public affairs for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association in Washington, D.C. During his 18 years in Washington, D.C. he worked for members of congress in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate, lobbied for a trade association representing postsecondary education students, and developed crisis communication and grassroots strategies for a variety of Fortune 500 companies.

JOANNE WONG
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND PARTNER, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD HONG KONG
Joanne Wong, a senior vice president and partner at Fleishman-Hillard Asia Pacific. She provides a range of multinational accounts with financial and sustainability counsel. Her clients include the Association of Management and Research, Monsanto, The Financial Times, The Carlyle-Group, Fannie Mae, Cadence and Walden International.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, she worked in Lee Wolter Co. where she has gained extensive consultancy experience in the corporate, financial, and marketing communications sectors, working for clients including the Sun Hung Kai Financial Group, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Cerruti, Agfa, and LVMH.

SOPHIE PIM
SENIOR CONSULTANT, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD LONDON
A senior consultant at Fleishman-Hillard, Sophie Pim has worked on a number of cross-market campaigns for some of the U.K.’s most high-profile organisations and has provided issues management support and crisis communications strategies to international clients. She has also worked on environmental issues for high-profile U.K. companies including Marks & Spencer and Flybe.
Before joining Fleishman Hillard, she was operations manager to the leader of the British Conservative Party David Cameron, and media consultant to Clarence House, the private office of the Prince of Wales.
In 2005, as press and campaign manager for the “Cameron Campaign,” Pim was responsible for the overall planning and execution of the country-wide media tour for Cameron’s successful campaign to be Conservative Party Leader. During the 2005 general election, she was campaign manager to Michael Howard, Opposition Leader, running his media and policy events.

MALIN JENNINGS
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, FLEISHMAN-HILLARD, WASHINGTON, D.C.
Malin Jennings is the founder of the Fleishman-Hillard’s sustainability practice, and a senior vice president based in Washington, D.C.
She is a senior communications strategist with more 25 years of experience communicating sustainability, environmental and natural resource information. She represents companies and organizations that are affected by or interested in carbon policy, sustainability practices and climate change initiatives.
Malin is an expert on conservation issues, and particularly those facing the peoples and environment of the Arctic. She is a Fellow with the Conservation Science Institute and founder of the Arctic I.C.C.E. Project, which documents the impact of climate change on the Thule Inuit hunters of remote northwest Greenland. The World Bank, the WWF and American University are among the institutions that have invited her to talk about her Arctic research.
Malin has a distinguished career in communications, including a period as press secretary to Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, and seven years as a broadcaster in Washington DC and the Arctic.
